02Confirm loading access
03Measure tight entries
04Label destination rooms

01 — Check lift requirements

Confirm whether lifts must be booked, padded or used within a designated time window and provide those details with the enquiry.

02 — Confirm loading access

Check where a moving vehicle can stand and the walking distance between that position, the building entry and your apartment.

03 — Measure tight entries

Measure narrow entries, corridors and lift dimensions where large furniture may be a close fit. Flag pieces that may need dismantling.

04 — Label destination rooms

Label cartons and furniture by destination room so unloading stays organised within the new building's access constraints.

Questions about moving guide

Have a specific question about your upcoming move? Contact our team during the published business hours.

Which building arrangements should I check before moving?

Ask building management about lift reservations, loading positions, access hours and shared-area requirements at both properties. Include those conditions in your enquiry so the moving plan can be reviewed against them.

What if furniture may not fit in the lift or doorway?

Measure the piece and the narrowest doors, corridors, stairs and lift openings along its path. Send those measurements to HF before moving day and discuss dismantling where relevant rather than assuming the item will fit.
