01 — Nominate site contacts
Name one contact for each site and record building, security, loading and lift requirements that the move plan must accommodate.
02 — Group items by destination
Label furniture, cartons and equipment by team, room or destination zone so each group can be directed at the new workplace.
03 — Identify equipment handling needs
Identify IT equipment, fragile devices, archives and oversized pieces that need separate preparation or handling discussion.
04 — Share loading and lift rules
Share an agreed placement plan and confirm which items must remain accessible during the transition instead of packing everything together.

Questions about moving guide
Have a specific question about your upcoming move? Contact our team during the published business hours.
How should we label office furniture and equipment?
Use the destination room, team or workstation label and share a placement plan. Nominate a contact at each site so questions about security, access and final positioning can be resolved during the move.
Who should prepare IT equipment before an office move?
Arrange backups, disconnection and reconnection with your own IT contact. Identify devices that need separate handling and discuss their physical transport with HF; a furniture move does not imply IT installation support.
